Elpidio. common in every latin american, or any country that has been under spanish colonization. the spanish, as well as the portuguese, italians and in some form the french use this name which came from latin elpedius which came from the greek word elpis which means hope.
Reply:Its hard to say which country in latin america uses Elpidio most, but If i were to take a guess it would be Argentina and Northern Mexico for its huge population and spanish decendants. Every country in latin america should have some. Besides spanish the name also has portuguese and italian origin so Brazil and Venezuela probably has a lot too...
