What is the ethnic origin of the last name BELLENIE?

The last name sounds Italian to me, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm very curious as it has to do with a friend of mine. Thanks for the help!

What is the ethnic origin of the last name BELLENIE?
Mostly Italian.

There is a famous Italian who lived in Venezia %26lt;Venice%26gt; by the name of Bellenie. He created a drink containing champagne and peaches ... secret recipe ... it cost a fortune to get the authenitic drink in Venezia ... but you can get a good one anywhere in Venice.

Sadly, you can't get a "Bellenie" at the new Los Vegus Venitian Resort ... but you can cross the strip and go to Magiano's and get a "Bellenie" there.
Reply:The Mormons have a bunch of them in England. Here is one;

They don't have any Italian ones. That isn't proof here are none; the 1700 ones may have come over from Italy and stayed, opening Italian restaurants to introduce the stolid English to the joys of tomatos, garlic and basil.
