The question is a re-post. I got very good answers but want to have as many opinions as possible. Some say from the Middle East and some say it is of Mayan ancestry. Does anyone else have any ideas?
Does anyone know the origin of the last name Pisquiy?
All the people who have it come from Guatemala, so it's probably a Spanish transliteration of a Mayan word.
