What is the origin of the following last Name- Luckeydoo?

What is the origin of that last name? Irish? English? Any stories?

What is the origin of the following last Name- Luckeydoo?
according to this researcher, the original is Lucado, and she seems to have worked it back to a Huegonot immigrant:

Lucadou, Lookadoo, Luckado, and Lucado Family History, Vols. 1-3, Carolyn L. Lucado Griffin.

This series traces a Huguenot family from France in the 1700's to present day America. Prices including tax and postage are: volume 1, $32; volume 2, $20; volume 3, $39. Contact the author at 1200 S. Harris, Ypsilanti, MI 48198-6513. (6/10/97)
Reply:It's West Virginian.

Virginians spelled it Luckadoo.
Reply:I would think, that if it is a Real Name, that it is more than

one name, put together, for one word.

Years ago, people wrote words, by sound, and didn't spell

any name the same way all the time.

That name could have many spellings.

I might guess it to be Scottish / English.

Example: Lakey is also Lackey / Lackay / Lackee / Lakee /

Laky etc.
