I can't seem to find this name anywhere and I think it's really pretty.
Since I can't find it, I'm thinking it must have a bad connotation. Does this word mean something in a different language?

My name is Leola (Lee-o-la). Liola is pronounced with a sharp 'i' sound. I have found a Native American meaning for the name saying this it means "willow" and another meaning "beautiful sun maiden". My great great grandfather came straight off the boat from irleand and named his daughter Leola, my name sake. The Irish Meaning is "honor".
